I’ve noticed a new resiliency in the American people that I had not seen before after years of the corporate media controlling how we’re fed news they’ve began to wonder about all the paradigms of the story. More and more Americans are choosing alternative media such as Infowars.com and Russia Today. We’ve grown to realize the media cannot be trusted to the point that only 11% of Americans believe we are justified in attacking Syria. Now, I’m sure this is war weariness more so than alternative media. And to be honest, I hate listening to alternative media just as much as mainstream media because it reminds me of the sad reality of what “journalism” is today. It’s just propaganda, which propaganda do you believe is the question.
The stench with which the media has been advocating the war is surreal. Mostly it’s these Washington D.C. journalists that believe in the superiority of their views because all those they’re connected to believe in the moral superiority of unipolar force in world affairs. Unipolar force is great when you have the greatest military in the world, but seriously let’s quit thinking with an ego and attempt to try something new. Like, for instance, not supplying jihadists with weapons just because we want to get closer to Iran.
But the alternative media seem to be taking sides with the Assad regime and that does not bode well for alternative media. The Alt media has always been a thorn in the side of the establishment. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are moves to label them traitors when in fact they believe in liberty after all is said and done.
